School Trips
(for educators)

*PLEASE NOTE ALL SCHOOL TRIPS ARE CANCELLED DUE TO THE PANDEMIC, LACK OF LOCAL AUTHORITY SUPPORT FOR THIS BUSINESS TYPE, AND EXTENDED MATERNITY LEAVE.

Aimed at students 4 - 12 years of age, we offer a half day package for primary school groups to visit the farm and take part in our 'Schools on the Farm' education programme.

We have put together a rich programme for primary school aged children to experience life on a nature and conservation farm. Using games and activities drawing on the senses, team work and connecting with nature, children will have the opportunity to learn in a unique environment with experienced and pioneering teachers.

Children respond amazingly to being outside in nature, to being able to see, touch, smell and describe as they learn. Our activities encourage children to engage all the senses while learning about animals, nature, the environment, where our food comes from and what part we play in it all, as well as what it means to live healthy lives, in our bodies and minds.

We cater for smaller groups of up to 12 students at a time for three hour sessions with a break time in the middle.

Prices start from £3.00 per student.
